  • How does a Wedding RSVP Service Work?

    When you sign up for The Guest Register’s Wedding RSVP Service you’ll receive an 800# and your very own wedding website to share with your guests. Instead of sending back a response card, your guests will RSVP via the 800# or your very own wedding website. As part of our Wedding RSVP Service, we will call all guests who have not responded. The calls will begin 10 days before your guest count is due. Each non-respondent will receive up to three phone calls from our professional, courteous staff. We recognize that your guests are all very important to you and we always treat them just as you would.

  • How is The Guest Register different from the others that offer Wedding RSVP Services?

    The Guest Register offers a comprehensive phone and web RSVP Service. In addition to taking guest responses over the phone as many services do, we provide you a FREE comprehensive 20 page wedding website. This gives your guests the flexibility to respond the way that they are most comfortable – either by web or phone. Our proprietary WebBuilder makes it easy for you to design your own site. You may create your own web pages, upload up to 20 photos and even check your guests’ responses online at any time of day or night! While others may offer parts of our service, we offer the most comprehensive services available today.

    1. Bulletin Board Chat Room

    Would you like your guests to be able to connect with one another before the wedding weekend? Our secure bulletin board tool creates a chat room for all guests. Anyone on your guest list can access the chat room to let each other know when they are arriving, where they are staying or anything else that they would like to discuss. Cost to add a chat room is just $25.

  • How does TGR get an accurate guest count?

    With TGR's Wedding RSVP Service, guests can opt to RSVP via an 800# or your personalized website. We will collect and tally all responses and post them then to your RSVP report. You may access this report at any time — day or night.

    As part of our Wedding RSVP Service, we will begin calling all guests who have not responded. The calls will begin 10 days before your guest count is due. Each non-respondent will receive up to three phone calls from our professional, courteous staff. We recognize that your guests are all very important to you and we always treat them just as you would.

    As we contact your guests we will update your report. On the date that your count is due you will have an accurate count knowing that all guests have been contacted. You can feel comfortable ordering just the number of meals that you need. No need to order 10% over to cover those who have not responded.

  • What other events does TGR service?

    We specialize in weddings, class reunions and family reunions. One feature that our customers value is the ability to collect payment for events that require it. Events like reunions can be time consuming and challenging to coordinate. Our secure credit card payment service and a unique bio page for each class/family member, makes us a prime reunion and meeting destination.


How Does It Work?
  • When will we get our 800# and URL?

    As soon as you register for our Wedding RSVP Service you will be assigned an 800# and an access code to your custom site. This is the Event ID that you will send out with your invitations. Your guests may call the 800# or visit your personal website where all requested information will be collected.

  • How should I provide my guest list?

    You will fill out our preformatted Excel spreadsheet with your guests’ names and their phone numbers. Phone numbers are used as your guests' id number to access their record to RSVP. We also use them to contact any non-respondents. (Be sure to provide the phone number that each guest is most likely to use). You will upload the spreadsheet to your site and this will create real-time reporting for you. You may check your guests' RSVP status any time of the day or night.

  • What additional info can our site provide for our guests?

    Your site can provide virtually any information that you wish to share with your guests. Common examples include:

    • Gift registry locations
    • Menu options
    • Hotel information and directions
    • Gift Opening details
    • Couple's new address
    • Add a chat room for an additional $25

  • When will you start calling the guests who have not responded?

    As part of our Wedding RSVP Services we will begin calling your guests 10 days before you need your final guest count. Three attempts are made to reach each guest. A message will be left with each attempt if we do not speak directly to your guest.

  • How can we receive our guest count?

    One of the things our clients like the best about our Wedding RSVP Service is the online reporting. Using your host access you can access your reports any time, day or night. We can also fax your list to you.

  • How can we add a guest to our list?

    You may add a guest at any time up to the day before your RSVP date. (At this time we will begin contacting your guests.) Additions to your guest list will be billed separately.

  • What will our personal wedding website contain?

    You decide what you would like to include in your site. Our custom WebBuilder allows you to include up to 20 pages on your site:

    • Pictures of the bride and groom
    • Bride and groom bios and info on how he proposed
    • Picture and a bio of each wedding party member
    • Event listings and link to maps and directions
    • Hotel information
    • RSVP collection area
    • Showers, parties, gift opening
    • Area to post wedding, honeymoon and "our life together" photos
    A secure chat room can be added to your site for your guests to connect with each other before the wedding weekend. The chat room can be added to your site for $25. It will remain available through your wedding day.

  • How is our site different from what I can get from the competition?

    TGR offers multiple interactive pages where hosts can share wedding event details, upload photos, and even collect information such as menu choices from guests. As an event host, you may update your site as often as you wish. In addition to our wedding RSVP services, TGR offers a true interactive web destination for your event so that you can promote all the details behind it — and share new information each time you have a change. All this for about the same price as most competitors!

  • How will we provide the information for our customized, personal wedding site?

    Once you register for our Wedding RSVP Service, you will be given a special host access code which gives you access to the WebBuilder where you will input all of the information that you would like on your site. You choose how much you would like to put on your site. You enter everything right online. As soon as you enter it, it will appear on your site. If you would like us to create your site for you, simply give us a call.

  • Who can view our wedding website?

    You decide to whom you would like to give access to your site. The only way people can access the site is if you share your custom code with them.

  • Can others view our guest report?

    You as the hosts are the only ones that can access your guest list. Your host access code will only be given to you. For security purposes, we recommend that you do not share your code with anyone that you do not fully trust as anyone with your code will be able to alter your guest list and RSVP status.

  • How long will our wedding website be available?

    Your site will be accessible from the date that you register through your wedding date. Put it up as soon as you are engaged! If you would like to retain the site after your wedding to share honeymoon pictures, new home or other life photos, we will host your site as long as you wish for $10 a month (3 month minimum.) You pay for the site when you upload your guest list.

  • Can we keep the wedding website up after our event?

    Even after you’re finished using our Wedding RSVP Service you may want to keep your wedding website accessible to your guests. Share stories and photos from the wedding, gift opening and honeymoon. Post your new address. Thank the people that made your day special. We will host your site as long as you wish for $10 a month (3 month minimum.)
